26 November 2013, The Flight Ticket
I woke up in the morning and realized Air Asia ticket promo to South Korea was going to an end soon. Having no passport as I never going abroad before, I finally made a decision. I am going to go to South Korea. I didn't know what was inside my mind but I thought I knew that was gonna be an amazing decision I made in my life. We're planning to go with 6 people.
with less saying to my parents (this one is not good. don't try this) I finally bought the ticket with 2 other people, while the 3 other bought their tickets on the next day. it cost each person about 3,7 million rupiah for a Fly-Thru Round Trip Ticket including baggage. pretty good deal, right?
we're going to go on August 26th 2014 and be back on September 2nd 2014, and that means we reserved our ticket almost a year earlier.

6 January 2014, The Passport
Few days before I came to the Immigration Office in South Jakarta, I made an online passport request. That was super easy, I just fill everything on the online form and submit the form along with the requested files. The online system is quite helpful. No need to come to the immigration office too early to submit the form and the files.
After submitting the form, I came to the immigration office to take photo for the passport and an interview. not much, the question was like "where are you going?" "what is the purpose of you making the passport?"
The day has come. 4 days later I came back again to the immigration office to pick up my passport. Now I can finally go wherever I want.

17 July 2014, The South Korea Visa
From the time I bought my plane ticket until few months before the departure time, I kept searching on the internet about this one essential thing : South Korea Visa.
You got the ticket? Yes. You had your passport? Yes. You had South Korea visa? No. Well, there's no way you can enter South Korea then.
There was some bad and good things from what I heard, but mostly good. Gaining South Korea visa is not that hard. As long as you completed the requirement there is no way they will reject your visa application. And I proved it.
A little tip from me : just submit your visa application straight to the South Korea embassy no need to use any visa services, that way you'll save much time and money.
